Scarce. Good.** Charles Bryson 1877-1963. A graduate of Queen's University Belfast , he served in World War I as a Secret Service agent. In 1916, he went to Russia with the official intention of learning the language and was there when the Russian Revolution of 1917 broke out. In the mid-1920s he began writing, publishing his first detective novel. During the Second World War he became a spy again for British Intelligence.
